Best Milk Alternative?

So, which is the best milk?
That depends on your personal goals! If your goal is to use a “milk” with the least calories, almond milk would be best for you! However, if your goal is to give your child a healthy milk alternative, almond milk would not be the best choice.
The different milks all vary not only in their calories and macronutrients but also in the types of fats, sugars, and proteins they contain! These variations will mean different milks are going to be useful in different scenarios.
My personal favorite milk is goat milk but it isn’t for everyone - it has a strong taste and is deficient in folate and vitamin B12. Of plant milks, my favorite is pea milk - it contains a good about of protein and calcium as well as omega-3 fats. Soy milk is also a great choice and contrary to popular belief, is perfectly safe for men, women, and children.
If you avoid soy milk because you heard it messes with hormones, don’t miss my next post!
